What is Starting Point?

Starting Point is a conversational small group environment where you can explore faith and experience community.  It is a 10 week course for anyone that has questions about God, His plan for your life, or needs to resume the most important relationship they will ever have.  In Starting Point, we ask and answer questions – maybe questions that you have had in your whole life but were afraid to ask!  We discuss what it means to be in a relationship with God and where we fit in.  We discuss our purpose and we share with each other.

In preparation for each group meeting, there will be a short chapter to read and a few questions to answer.  Each chapter contains four components:

  1. Narrative Introduction
  2. Key Scripture text
  3. Thought-provoking question
  4. Additional resources

In Starting Point, we learn what it is like to fellowship with others and to trust when we have difficult questions to ask or tough situations in our lives to handle.

When Do We Meet?

Begins July 1st at 7 pm

We keep to a firm time slot in order for parents to get their children home and in bed for school.  Even though formal childcare is not provided, we have a room we set aside for the kids with video games and movies.
