Home of Family Warmth, Seguin, TX

Home of Family Warmth - A home for girls in need. After beginning in foster parent training, we were called in 1995 to begin a home for hurting teenage girls. We provide a stable, Christian environment with unconditional love for young girls who, for one reason or another, cannot live with their parents our guardians.

Most of our girls have had traumatic experiences in their life yet unknowingly desire healing because of discipline problems, rape, incest, abandonment, mutilation, molestation, cults, drugs and alcohol.

We desire to immerse our girls in Christianity, thereby allowing God's healing grace to minister to them. Unlike many organizations who receive funding through government entities, we are a faith ministry which allows Jesus Christ to be present as the healer of our girls. As such, we rely on God's provisions through individuals, corporations, and other organizations for the clothing, food, personal and school needs for the girls.

We have been blessed by the fact that if the girls stay with us longer than a year, most will ultimately continue to recover from their strongholds and are able to live a loving, productive live. Without this heart change however, they will continue to repeat their destructive patterns and behavior. Unfortunately these destructive behaviors will continue to affect their children and even their children's children through generational strongholds and bondage.

We believe that our home provides a unique and much needed ministry for young girls throughout Texas and the United States. We are meeting the ever-increasing need for a Christian home environment to deal with the very real problem of abuse and its effect on the lives of young girls.
